Weeks pregnant?: THIRTY- FOUR WEEKS! Technically 6 WEEKS TO GO, but we are hoping sooner! 🙂

What Demi Is Up Too:

Demi is clocking in at five pounds and could be as tall as 20 inches by now, and the vernix (the white coating protecting your baby’s skin) is getting thicker. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she’s born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well.  In other baby-related developments, those tiny fingernails have probably reached the tips of her fingers by now — and getting ready for that first postpartum manicure.

Maternity clothes?: I think we should rename this sweats/Michaels clothing

Stretch marks?: Michael saw a couple of super tiny ones that I could not see, but he said it actually took light hitting my body a certain way, so hopefully the bottle of lotion I put on last night helped!

Sleep: what is sleep? I heard of it before

Best moment this week?: knowing sweet Demi is a big girl who is healthy and fully developed so she is clear to go when she feels ready 

Miss Anything?: my sanity! I am just so ready to be a mommy that the constant growth and pregnancy hormones are driving me nuts

Movement?: I can watch her little body move as I lay on my side which is awesome, Michael says it looks like a scene from Alien

Food cravings: salads and hot sauce!

Symptoms?: feeling like I am back in the first trimester with the nausea and fatigue but tack on some lower back pain and contractions and you have a fun afternoon right there! 😉 she is worth every last bit!

Belly Button in or out?: more out than in

Wedding rings on or off?: Off, fake ring on! 

Happy or Moody most of the time?:  A ton of happy moments but the occasional breakdown at times

Looking forward to?: going ahead and having our sweet baby girl!

We are definitely asking for prayers over the next few weeks for our sweet baby girl. Last week they thought they heard an arrhythmia and sent us to see a specialist, when we went in the next day to see him, he found out the problem our doctor was hearing wasn’t because of an arrhythmia but rather the cord is around her neck and I am pretty sure she thinks its fun to play with, with the way her little hands are right by it! The doctor is checking us every week until we deliver and he feels good about her being fine, but of course for first time mommy and daddy and then first time Muddy and Granddaddy the nerves and craziness is a little high. We are doing kick tests and have had to go to triage once because she failed but she seems ok, so we are just trusting that God has his perfect plan for the remainder of our pregnancy!

Weeks pregnant?: THIRTY-THREE WEEKS! 7 LEFT!!

What Demi Is Up Too:

 Your baby is still gaining weight (about half a pound a week), and she could grow up to another full inch this week. With that much baby inside your uterus, your amniotic-fluid level has maxed out, which explains why some of her pokes and kicks feel pretty sharp these days. (There’s less fluid to cushion the blows.) Antibodies are being passed from you to your little one as she continues to develop her own fetal immune system, which will come in handy once she’s outside the womb and fending off all sorts of germs.

Maternity clothes?: All day everyday! 

Stretch marks?: Negative!   

Sleep: lots of sleep deprivation to ensure that I am fully prepared for sweet Demi

Best moment this week?: we have a nursery, joined a church and planned Demi and Michaels first out of country adventure together!!! Its been a wonderful week! 

Miss Anything?: my not having a sharp shooting pain in my stomach every couple minutes!!!

Movement?: I can feel TONS of rapid crazy bursts at once sometimes! She loves to move around all day and all night

Food cravings: salads and wraps

Symptoms?: feeling like I am back in the first trimester with the nausea and fatigue all over again  

Belly Button in or out?: more out than in

Wedding rings on or off?: Off, fake ring on! 

Happy or Moody most of the time?:  A ton of happy moments!!! WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!!

Looking forward to?: Measuring sweet Demi this week and finding out how we are doing!!!

Weeks pregnant?: THIRTY-TWO WEEKS! Only 8 more to go

(Yes we have gotten behind and there is no picture this week! Sorry mommy, daddy and granddaddy, but it has been a stressful few weeks getting ready for little miss too impatient to waits arrival!)

What Demi Is Up Too:

 She’s starting to get ready for her big debut, tipping the scales at almost four pounds and topping out at just about 19 inches. In these past few weeks, it’s all about practice, practice, practice as she hones the skills she’ll need to thrive outside the womb — from swallowing and breathing to kicking and sucking. And speaking of sucking, your little one has been able to suck her thumb for a while now. Something else to note: As more and more fat accumulates under your baby’s skin, she’s becoming less transparent and more opaque.

Maternity clothes?: Either that or Michaels clothes, whichever! I told him I cannot wait until his clothes are big and baggy on me again

Stretch marks?: Negative!  

Sleep: lots & lots of tossing and turning and never being comfortable

Best moment this week?: we painted Demi’s room and bit and pieces of her room are starting to be delivered! It is crazy awesome

Miss Anything?: my confidence, the more I grow the more insecure I seem to be becoming (and I am pretty sure that WHEN I get back down to pre-pregnancy weight) I will never be as critical as I used to be on myself. Going from 122lbs to what I am at now is really taking a toll on my insecurities but I am still so beyond grateful for Gods wonderful blessing, I just feel guilty having to remind myself of that all the time!

Movement?: I can now watch her little foot move across the top of my stomach, it Is the coolest this ever!

Food cravings: fruit snack

Symptoms?: good third trimester symptoms and you pretty much have what I feel! lol the nausea has even decided to make another appearance!  

Belly Button in or out?: more out than in

Wedding rings on or off?: Off, fake ring on! People made fun of me for wanting to get another ring, but in the day of glorified unwed pregnancies I take pride in my wonderful husband and the ring I wear

Happy or Moody most of the time?:  A lot of crying and happiness and then joyful crying and then you know all sorts of mood swings

Looking forward to?: MEETING MY BABY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
