Grace Demeaux Ross: oh what a miracle you are!!! I am so grateful for this sweet little girl we are expecting and just blown away at all she does inside of me.. it is crazy watching her move around on the ultrasound! I am beyond thankful for my little woman!
The doctor told us we should start talking to her more since her brain is beginning to designate specialized areas for hearing, smell, taste, vision and touch. So we talk to Demi and say goodnight and when I am singing in church I feel her move a little more than usual… and when I am eating really rich food! She is definitely my little mover and shaker and a trouble maker already as she doesn’t lay in the fetal position, but head to toe straight across kicking and hitting against all of those wonderful areas that caused me so much trouble in the past, but she is still a blessing! I am grateful for all the movement and craziness because it first off definitely makes her Michael and my little girl, but secondly means she is healthy and active!
This sweet girl has no idea how much she means to me and how much her name defines exactly what she is, GRACE. By the absolute grace of God, He allowed Michael and I to conceive to sweet little girl when all the odds where against us, He gave me a fighter much like her mommy, but oh so much like her Muddy, Grace, my mommy and one of the strongest women I know and I am so honored that her first name is after a woman I hope that I am half of as I enter motherhood. Demeaux after her great-grandmothers middle name, a woman who was second to none, my mam-maw who showed me so much love and care as her first grandchild and only granddaughter. I have the privilege of wearing her rings as my engagement and wedding rings, and hope that my marriage with Michael can come close to what she had with my grandaddy. My mam-maw was also a fighter and had such a wonderful outlook on life that there is no other woman I could imagine having my baby girl named after! Grace Demeaux Ross name for two women who could not have had a bigger impact on my life and shaping me into the woman I would become! Demi I pray you embrace your beautiful name and know where you came from and the wonderful women whose name you carry forward!
